Examples of short films:

Film 1:

This film is about the daily life of someone who has OCD. The character is represented as someone who needs everything to be perfect. From his clothes to his placement of objects such as placing all the drinks the same way on the shelf. They have used the camera to do close up of the objects. Editing has been used for fast cutting rates matching the pace of the background sound. The sound is mainly non-diagetic. They have used mis-en-scene which would be normal through a daily day, a house, shops.
Target audience: People that want to know more about OCD or a mature audience Teenagers / Adults.

Summer Task: Short Film Ideas

Idea 1:
Genre: Realistic.
Summary: This idea is about the day 'Friday'. It shows the enthusiasm amongst people on a friday as usually it will be the day where workers and students get the weekend off to have free time. In comparison to Monday where the general feeling is waking up tired, dragging along; Friday is met with more enthusiasm by people to get the day over with to enjoy their breaks. This film will to empathize on this idea and follow a student who is embarking on the journey to school on a friday. Audience: Students and people that go to work - they can relate to this.
